What a a great week I've had so far and the weekend is nearly here. First off, I would like to thank The Hype Machine for adding me to the list of their blogs. I'm really excited to finally have a large audience to entertain. Since my last post made it all the way to number 1 on the Top 100 at hypem.com, I decided that I couldn't just follow it with a sleeper or something that someone else has already blogged about. Anyone remember Josh Wink from back in the late 90's? Well he is still going strong and he recently put out two great remixes of the new Gorillaz - Melancholy Hill track. This is something that I would play early on in the evening; it has a great beat and will definitely be a lounge killer.
On a totally different matter, the Andy Warhol portrait above was taken by my grandmother, Editta Sherman, back in the day. She just celebrated her 98th birthday and is still going strong. I love this picture. It's one of a kind.

Gui Boratto is a great producer, Parasie circus is a pretty sick track. Check out his track "no turning back" if you haven't yet.
