So last night I played a small Thursday night set @ NV Lounge in Guelph. I haven't taped a Bouge mix in a while so I decided to take advantage of the evening and recorded the first hour of my set. I also decided to drop what may or may or may not be a lower quality rip of Ducksauce's "Barbra Streisand" that will forever be a classic. The version in the mix isn't the same as the one below, supposedly according to http://www.vacayvitamins.com/ this is the real deal. Still no word of an official release date. When were you in Guelph? If i'd known NV featured anyone worthwhile I'd have been there a long time ago. Please, let me know if you're back I'll bring an army.
ReplyDeleteI started playing Thursday's at NV, I think it is going to be a regular thing for the school year, just did my second show there this week. Guelph doesn't have too many places where you can play something that isn't Top40, and NV probably has the nicest drinks. I much prefer the lounge environment to big clubs with the exception of the The Social in Toronto. I would give my left nut to have a residency @ that place. Bring an army, it will be fun.

I want to get into more chilled out stuff, just like you are playing in the first minutes of this mix (which is the beez kneez). You could help a young and struggling DJ a LOT by putting up the tracklist here ;-)
