Snoop A 4 beat Loop

So who knew Snoop was into 4 & 8 beat loops of deep house?  I guess it makes a lot of sense given, I just have a hard time picturing one of the biggest names in hip hop over the last two decades dj'n a house set at a small club somewhere.  It would make for a great party though and I might add his mix ain't too shabby.  A Crazy P remix closer to the end of the mix really stood out for me.  I feel the first back yard mixing session of the spring coming on soon!

In Memory Of Mehdi

I really wish I had the cashola to make it down to Miami this year, there are so many great parties going down but one can't do everything in life. If I were going down I would totally pass on the festival having done that before and just stick with all the other parties, and just bring a camera and document the the scene for three or four nights.  Last year I skipped Miami and bought cdj's with my Miami savings which ultimately has brought me a lot of happiness over the course of the last year but by doing that I missed the only opportunity to catch a live Mehdi set before last summers tragedy.  In his memory there is a really cool afternoon party you should all check out with many of Mehdi's friends performing & I'm sure the all of the coolest cats around will be in attendance.

It's been about a month or so since I've heard an amazing Sound Pellegrino Podcast but this week was a whopper, make sure to check out it @ soundpellegrino.net.
