3 Minutes Of Love

Really feeling this filter house track/video on this very chill Sunday evening.  For something French but not a filter house track, check out and show your support for the High Powered Boys as they are awesome.  Dave Winnel's got a nice funky tech beat that been remixed by Midnite Sleaze that ain't too shabby.  Riva Starr has a remix out on his Snatch Label thats ok, but my favorite of the lot is probably a Loopus Amadeus track that is pretty pretty good.  Happy Sunday!

Wise Words

Dark & Stormy has a new EP coming out on Hotfingers shortly that sounds off the chain if tech house is your thing.  If tech house isn't your thing, you should really give it a gander.  It's nice to listen to to electronic music that is a little softer once in a while with a good beat and great use of vocal samples & edits.  I've been following Dark & Stormy for quite some time now and can really appreciate how good his tech productions have gotten.  Check him out, I'm sure you'll dig.

Check out Vato Gonzalez 2 Bears remix for a solid big room tune this weekend.   I'm really loving everything 'The 2 Bears have ever done so it's easy to love remixes of anything they have ever done.  For something very different but still very cool check out the Green River Judgement Day Remix. Make sure you check out the Juniper Factory for something a little off my regular beat & path that sounds magical this Mother's Day Weekend.  On a theatrical note why is there so much hype over "The Avengers"? I get that it's about 6 hero's coming together for a kick ass time but is the hype really worth it?  I was never really a comic book kid but as I grow older I am slightly more fascinated with the comic books.  Maybe I'll go buy my first comic this weekend, any suggestions?

Happy Saturday!  Back in Ann Arbor, Michigan for the weekend for my girlfriend's Masters graduation  from the University of Michigan. Go Blue!  Got to go out in Detroit for a few drinks last night to the Town Pump Tavern & had a great time.  Shout out to the DJ/Producer Todd for playing some Tiger & Woods followed up by some Men At Work.

The music video above may be a real shocker for a few of you, but it's got that type of je ne sais quoi that I really love.  There are a lot of other great tracks on here, I'm especially in love with Para One's latest release on Marble Music once again proving that French people do it better.  I also tossed in a link to Red Solo Cup for those of you who hate EDM and just want a good drinking song.

Dear fellow music lovers & blog followers,

My boy Roland has decided to jump on board and help with the blog to try to keep it relevant.  He will bring a very different musical element to the blog being a fan of a much harder EDM sound, with a big focus on Dubstep.  Were also looking for a new banner for the blog, if anyone with any artistic skills wants to jump in and make us something that looks better than a pic of my back yard a few years ago that would be awesome.  I can pay you in thank you's and lots of shout outs if we end up using it.
